FOUNDATIONS OF ECONOMICS

An introduction to economics as a way of thinking about markets, public policy, inequality, growth, and the trade-offs behind collective choices. Rather than offering ready-made answers, the course develops a conceptual toolkit for thinking more clearly about society, citizenship, and the economic futures we want to build.

STORY OF ART & CIVILIZATION I

From Nature to Reason: The course explores the human story from early Homo sapiens to the interconnected worlds of the late first millennium BCE. Through art, material culture, historical events, institutions, religions, and major traditions of thought, the course builds a broad framework for understanding how human beings have understood themselves, organised their societies, and made sense of the world. The course combines historical and geographical literacy with critical reflection, inviting participants not only to learn about the past, but also to use it as a way of thinking more carefully about themselves, society, and knowledge.

A glimpse into Noqte’s philosophy of education

HOW
WE
LEARN

At Noqte, education is not simply the transmission of information or ready-made answers. We see learning as a shared process of inquiry: a way of examining the world, ourselves, and the societies we live in through sustained engagement with ideas, histories, texts, and works of art.

Our courses are designed to create space for questioning, interpretation, discussion, and reflection. The aim is not only to know more, but to develop the capacities to think more carefully, make better judgments, encounter different perspectives, and participate more consciously in our individual and collective lives.
